(ISC)2® CISSP® Workshop

ISC (2)

Based on the Official CISSP CBK® Review Seminar, (ISC)2 will offer an education program focussing on two of the most challenging domains of the CISSP CBK: Information Security Governance and Risk Management;  and Cryptography.  Delivered by a certified professional, Anderson Ramos, who is also trained as an Authorised (ISC)2 Instructor, this workshop will cover the key principles every security professional should understand about the two domains, taking delegates that are interested one-step closer to earning their CISSP certificate.

1. Information Security Governance and Risk Management

  · The identification of an organisation’s information assets and the development,  documentation, and implementation of policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.

  · Management tools such as data classification and risk assessment/analysis that are used to identify threats, classify assets, and to rate system vulnerabilities so that effective controls can be implemented.

2. Cryptography

  · The principles, means, and methods of disguising information to ensure its integrity, confidentiality and authenticity. The emphasis is on imparting a high-level core understanding of this subject area for security managers, rather than the development of technical expertise.

Workshop Leader: Mr. Anderson Ramos, Authorised (ISC)2 Instructor, (ISC)2

The workshop will cover Information Security Governance and Risk in the morning session and Cryptography in the afternoon session. If you wish you to attend both sessions, please register for both.
