Securing The Information Lifecycle
![]()
Information is created, it is processed, transmitted and stored - and then it is usually destroyed. During this lifecycle the level of confidentiality and integrity of information can change significantly due to factors both within the control of the organisation (such as timeliness and data aggregation) and outside of the control of the organisation (such as legislation and regulation).
This workshop will examine how the level of confidentiality and integrity of information changes at different points in its
lifecycle; the threats and vulnerabilities to information in that lifecycle; and how information can be secured in accordance with its position in the lifecycle.
Workshop Leader: Mr. Andy Jones, Principal Research Consultant, Information Security Forum
