When faced with a data integrity attack, the implications for an organisation are wide, and if made public could affect their insurance risk, credit rating and of course, reputation. For some vertical markets it is potentially catastrophic when you consider faulty drug products for example, or on an individual level the loss of personal health records or altered credit ratings.
