The End Of The Chocolate Fireguard:Delivering Anywhere, Anytime Multi-Factor Authentication
Speaker(s)
Seminar Details Despite a decade or more since the introduction of the authentication token many companies are still using discredited username and password systems to police access to their corporate networks and ultimately protect critical assets. This is also set against a background of huge increases in the adoption of the Internet as the backbone of the corporate network and year on year increases in the volume and sophistication of Web based security threats. This presentation will take a deep-dive look at the reasons why some companies are reluctant to enforce two-factor authentication as the minimum standard to protect their organisations and will examine some of the more flexible alternatives to the industry standard, 'Key-fob' token that can overcome many of the common objections including cost, flexibility, scalability and user-resistance. |
