| Mr John Woodriff, Application Architect, Invensys Rail - Speaking on behalf of Imprivata |
Seminar Details
Invensys Rail is a world-leader in advanced signalling and integrated control systems for mainline and mass transit railways. With employees requiring access to more than 20 applications daily, password challenges have been a major issue. Internal IT satisfaction surveys repeatedly highlighted multiple passwords as a major frustration. Additionally, with up to three departments required to resolve each application lock-out and more than 21 password reset cycles recorded per week, password challenges were major contributors to lost productivity across the organisation.
During this session, John Woodriff, application architect, Invensys Rail, will share how five major UK sites and 11 global satellite sites now have improved access to a range of business-critical applications using finger biometrics, smart cards and single sign-on. Each user now saves a minimum of 15 minutes a day, whether working onsite or remotely. Improved productivity, security and control over who is accessing what and when, and from where, are just a few of the benefits that effective single sign-on and strong authentication solutions can provide.
