Seminar Details Best practice in risk management tells us that we need to understand our risk appetite and measure risk in relation to this. But how do we measure our appetite for information security risk? This session will: • explore the ‘best practice’ requirements for risk appetite in enterprise risk management and, more specifically, information security • explain the concepts and terminology behind risk appetite and risk tolerance • describe a range of approaches for setting risk appetite with a focus on those most widely used in practice. The seminar will provide practical examples of how to set risk appetite for information security and how to measure and monitor residual risk in relation to risk appetite. |
