The significant security risk posed by spam e-mails prompted a re-think of strategy towards e-mail protection at Chelmsford Borough Council. The council moved away from an internal on-network solution, offering 50% effectiveness, to using Websense Hosted Email Security that prevents virtually all spam from ever reaching the council's network.
